Lord Fred Sebatta is a well-known Ugandan Kadongo Kamu singer. He is a seasoned, lyrically, instrumentally, and vocally gifted artist who founded 'Matendo Band,' one of Uganda's largest Kadongo Kamu band groups.
Fred Sebatta is the sole survivor of Kadongo Kamu artists from the mid-1990s, including Herman Bassude, who died in 1997 R.I.P, Kasozi Living Stone, and Prince Paul Job Kafeero.
From 1996 to 1997, the former were all part of a fundraising tour. Muno Mukaabi literally translates to "A Needy Friend." A tour was organized to assist Living Stone Kasozi and his family during a time when he was near death.
Fred Sebatta has released a number of singles and albums, and his music is well-known for being catchy and popular among his target audience.
His lyrics are mature and more focused on guiding people in relationship and family life, presenting situations of hardships and trials that people may encounter while in any relationship.
Sam Wange was the first HD Ugandan video and song released by Lord Fred Sebatta in the mid-1990s, which catapulted him to fame as a Kadongo Kamu singer in Uganda. Sebatta never gave up after this album, and he now has over 100 Kadongo Kamu songs.
