Laycon commenced his professional journey as a dedicated personal aide to the esteemed Managing Director and CEO of Latjum Global Nigeria Limited. After completing his academic pursuits, he ventured into the realm of specialized sales and business development at Bestman Gaming in Ikoyi, Lagos.

In 2019, fate aligned with his musical aspirations as he secured a significant contract with the renowned Fierce Nation record label under the mentorship of Olugbenga Jackson. On February 21, 2019, Laycon showcased his creative brilliance through a collaborative marvel titled "Fierce," featuring Chinko Ekun and Reminisce. This captivating piece found its place within his second EP, "Who Is Laycon?"

An air of excitement surrounded the release of his single "Senseless," which delighted listeners on August 28, 2020.
