Kcee's Biography in Summary

Kcee is a name that Nigerians and West Africans are familiar with. His musical style is exceptional, as is his attire. Without a doubt, his level of success has made him one of Nigeria's most desirable men. Kcee's net worth places him near the top of the list of the 20 richest musicians in Nigeria. Kcee is a singer and songwriter whose music has spread far beyond the borders of his native Nigeria.

Kcee is one of the artists whose tracks and beats entice listeners to dance and grind their bodies to the beats of his music. Kcee was dubbed the "Limpopo Master" because of his evergreen Limpopo Music.

Kcee is a true fashionista.

Kcee never fails to impress when it comes to fashion, and his Instagram page is full of stunning images of the musician. Kcee has been wanted by online fashion police departments several times for breaking rules, combining and blending them to create amazing styles that make him stand out anywhere. His songs, on the other hand, are fantastic and can liven up any party. His Limpopo single is still in the hearts of Nigerians and his fans all over the world.

The Origins of Kcee

Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo is the real name of the musician. He was born in the Nigerian city of Ajegunle. His father was a disc jockey and presumably inspired Kcee to love music as a child.

Even though his first dream was to become a professional footballer, his father's love of music most likely inspired him to sing. Kcee comes from a very humble background, so he rose from the bottom to occupy the A-List spot among Nigerian musicians.

According to the singer and songwriter, he began hustling during his secondary school years. He juggled secondary school and menial jobs on Ajegunle's streets.

According to him, the hustle was real in Ajegunle, and you had no choice but to hustle or starve. The Musician used to sell furniture for a living.

His big break came when he won the star quest. The singer describes his victory as a significant step forward.

The Split Up with KC Presh

Even outside the borders of Nigeria, we can thank the church for secular musicians. Katy Perry, Hello musician, and Adele all came from the church's bench of Choristers.

The church has also given birth to musicians such as Flavour, D Banj, Sinach, and others.

He began singing in his church choir, which is where he met Precious. Kcee and Precious later collaborated to form the hip-hop music group "KC-PRESH."

The duo was signed by Kennis Music, which was the country's largest label imprint at the time and signed musicians such as TuBaba. They did, however, leave Kennis to form their own label, "KP records."

They made exploits together, releasing medium hit music and gradually becoming a household name until they decided to split up and go solo after 12 years of solid partnership.

Presh and Kcee split up in 2011, each pursuing his or her own goals. Prior to their split, the duo competed in "Star Quest," a music competition organized by Premium beer company, Star Nigeria, and won the first edition in 2002, defeating some of Nigeria's greatest entertainers such as;

Asa,

P-Square,

Mr. Raw,

Klint D Drunk

Kcee Post Split-Up

It's something we've seen over the years and decades. History has shown that whenever a band disbands, there is always a winner and a loser. Beyonce, for example, split from Destiny's Child and formed Platanium Boyz, which included Tubaba, Faze Alone, and Black Face, among others.

Presh was lost in oblivion when the duo split up, but Kcee used the sky as his starting point and shot to fame. You could argue that his marriage to PRESH was a stumbling block to his success.

Kcee, who has gone solo, released his first album "Take Over" in early 2013, on his billionaire brother E-Money's record label "Five Star Music."

This was his first and only album. However, I believe we have yet to see his best because he has released a slew of singles and a few collaborations, most notably "pull over" with Wizkid, which was an instant hit both in and out of Nigeria.

He's signed to Five Star Music, his younger brother's record label.

Nominations and Awards for the Kcee

Kcee has achieved success as a musician and has received several awards.

In 2013, he won the song of the year category at "The Headies Awards." A year later, in 2014, he won the title for hip hop world revelation song of the year for the second time.

Despite the fact that his Limpopo single was nominated for the "Channel O Music Awards" in the most gifted dance video category in 2013.

In the same year, he won the City People Entertainment Awards with his hit song "Limpopo" as the year's most popular song.

He was nominated for the artist of the year category at "The Headies Awards" in 2014.

KCee's Salary and Endorsements

In 2013, he served as a brand ambassador for telecom giant MTN Nigeria. The contract was renewed in 2015.

Fast forward to 2015, when he renewed his contract with MTN Nigeria and signed a deal with Magnum, a soft liquor company. He is also an ambassador for the Air Peace airline.

Former First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Dame Patience Jonathan, appointed Kcee as Peace Ambassador.

Kcee appears to be an unannounced ambassador for him and his brother Tomato Paste, dubbed "Five Star Tomato Paste."

Kcee's E-Money Relationship

Kcee's relationship with his younger brother, E-money, always causes confusion about who is the eldest of the two close brothers. We did write about it. Who is the elder of Kcee and Emoney?

To answer the question directly, Kcee is the elder brother of E-Money, the billionaire. In case you missed it, Kcee was the first to make money and bring fame to his family. He even paid for an E-money wedding.

Kcee's Wife/Girlfriend

The musician's marital life has been a relatively unnoticed topic. Although he has been linked with several ladies, including one with Nigerian actress Ebube Nwagbo, which was reported to have strained his marriage.

Kcee married Ijeoma in 2010 following a romantic air balloon proposal in Dubai.

The traditional wedding was held in Anambra State, followed by a court wedding at Apapa Registry.

Children of Kcee

Unlike his brother EMoney, who publicly adores his wife and children on his Instagram page, Kcee's insta-stories never include a photo of either his wife, Ijeoma, or his two children. Kcee and Ijeoma don't follow each other on Instagram.
