Jacob Krop (born 4 June 2001) is a long-distance runner from Kenya. He won silver in the 5000 meters at the World Athletics Championships in 2022 and bronze at the Commonwealth Games in 2022.
Krop won the 5000 m silver medal at the 2019 African Under-20 Championships at the age of 17.
Career
In April 2019, Jacob Krop set a new personal best in the 5000m with a time of 13:14.44 to win silver at the African U20 Athletics Championships in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He qualified for the Doha World Championships in Qatar after finishing fourth in the event at the Kenyan Trials because the first and second runners did not comply with the AIU anti-doping rules.
In Doha, he finished sixth with a new personal best time of 13:03.08.
