Ice Prince was born on October 30, 1984, and given the name Panshak Henri Zamani. He was born in the Niger State city of Minna. He is of the Angas ethnic group from Plateau state.

When he was two years old, his parents decided to relocate to Jos in search of better employment opportunities. As a result, Ice Prince relocated to Plateau State with them and spent the next two decades there. When Ice Prince was in his twenties, his mother died at the cold hands of death.

Ice Prince's passion has always been music. He was only fifteen years old when he began writing rap songs and performing them at school functions. He began recording at the age of 17.

Ice Prince formed ECOMOG with the help of some of his music-loving friends. This happened in 2002. Unfortunately, the group did not last more than a year before disbanding.

Ice Prince and his Loopy Crew members performed at musical shows and events at Jos University. This helped Ice Prince gain popularity among students and expand his audience.

Oleku, the rapper's hit song, catapulted him to fame. For weeks, the song topped the charts and was played on radio stations across the country. Ice Prince had a record deal with Chocolate City Music, owned by Audu Maikori, by the time he began recording his debut album. Everybody Loves Ice Prince, his debut album, was released in 2011. The album's notable singles include Superstar and Juju.

Fire Of Zamani, his second studio album, was released in 2013. Commercially successful songs on the album include Aboki, More, V.I.P, and Gimmie Dat.
