Georgina Osoro is a Kenyan police officer having served for a few years in the service. She started trending after rumours went out that she murdered a Maseno Universit Student in Maseno during Azimio la Umoja demonstrations organized opposition leader Raila Odinga.

She is claimed to have shot the student who goes by the name William Mayange. 

A third-year Maseno University student died after being shot by police during Azimio protests.

William Mayange, a student of education, died moments after being rushed to Coptic Hospital with a bullet wound in his neck.


The incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday, March 20, as university students continued to engage the police in running battles.
The deceased were among a group of students who participated in the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition mass action.

The students, along with other protesters, had blocked the Kisumu-Busia road.
