George Luchiri Wajackoyah's Biography in Summary

Once, a spy, the little known law professor has had a share of history in the Kenyan dramatic politics.

  • Prof Wajackoyah announced that they would form an alliance with Presidential aspirant Mohammed Abduba Dida that would offer the best leadership for Kenya.

"Very soon, Dida and I will be unveiling Tunza Alliance. We will offer the best alternative leadership for this country," said Wajackoyah.

Unknown to many, the law scholar, who has 6 Law degrees from the United Kingdom and the US, was once a street boy in Nairobi.

Prof. Wajackoyah, 57, was born in Western and abandoned by his parents after they divorced while he was at the age of 16 years.

The law scholar found his way to Nairobi at the tender age where he became a street boy and had to learn the art of survival.

“Life became unbearable… We would be beaten by police and city council askari,” the law scholar stated.

Lucky enough, the lawyer-cum-politician found a good samaritan who paid for his secondary education and proceeded to join St. Peter's Mumias Boys High school for his A-levels.

According to Prof Wajackoyah, the late politician J.J. Kamotho stepped in and paid for his school fees and after clearing his studies, he joined the police academy.

However, after rising through the ranks and being deployed as part of former President Mwai Kibaki's security detail, his joy was short-lived.

When the late Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Robert Ouko was murdered on February 12, 1990, Wajackoyah as an Inspector, was placed in charge of collecting intelligence on suspected killers until his professional inquisitiveness led to his arrest, detention and severe torture.

Luck was on his side again after some Americans helped him out of detention and flew him out of the country to the UK where he began his life in exile.

He dedicated his time to studying law and paid for his fees through digging graves, adding that his eyes were always red because of work and study only.

From the UK, Prof Wajackoyah would later move to the US where he has lectured extensively on Law and Economics, Human Rights, Comparative Constitutional and International law all over America.

This will not be the first time the professor is eyeing the presidential seat. In 2013, he announced that he would vie for Presidency but bolted out at the last minute without any explanation.

Prof. Wajackoyah has an LLB (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton (UK), CCL/LLM, School of Oriental & African Studies, University of London, LLM University of Warwick (UK), LLM University of Baltimore, and Advanced Diploma in French from the University of Burundi.

Can I vote for Wajackhoya ?

Many kenyans are asking if they could vote for the controversial presidential candiate. Honestly is the most ideal, a real person and I would confidently vote for him in the upcoming election.

He has been everything in the kenyan space, a DCI investigator in the chaotic Moi era that investigated the murder of Dr Robert Ouko to numerous degrees that earned him a professor in the US and UK. He is a brillian mind coming from the western Kenya running an orthodox campaign wearing durag. He promises to legalize bhang, alias weed, in Kenya which is currently illegal for medicinal purposes.
