Gabriel Gerald Geay (born September 10, 1996) is a Tanzanian long-distance runner. He finished second in the Boston Marathon in 2023.
Geay holds the Tanzanian national marathon record.
Career
Geay has won seven notable road races, including the 2016 Peachtree Road Race and the 2017 Bolder Boulder 10K.
In 2017, he finished 22nd in the senior men's race at the 2017 IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Kampala, Uganda.
He had won over $33,000 in prize money as of July 2018.
In 2019, he finished 88th in the senior men's race at the World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus, Denmark.
In 2021, he finished sixth in 2:04:55, a new Tanzanian national record, at the Milano City Marathon in Italy. This performance qualified him for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. In August 2021, he competed in the men's marathon alongside compatriot Alphonce Felix Simbu.
He finished second in the Valencia Marathon in Spain in 2022, setting a national record of 2:03:00.
