Eddy Kenzo's Childhood and Early Years

Edrisah Kenzo Musuuza, professionally known as Eddy Kenzo, was born on December 25, 1989. Eddy Kenzo was born and reared in Masaka by his mother, who died when he was just four years old.

After his mother died, he lived the next 13 years as an orphan on the streets of Masaka and Kampala, not knowing who his father was. Kenzo, who grew up dreaming of becoming a professional player, joined the Masaka Local Council FC camp when he was nine years old. He received a bursary to attend Lubiri Secondary School in Masaka as a result of his stay in the camp, but he did not complete his education.

Eddy Kenzo's Professional Career

Eddy Kenzo's music career began in 2008, when he debuted his smash track, Yanimba, while collaborating with Mikie Wine. Stamina, his following single, was released in 2010 and was the catalyst for his rise to prominence after it was utilized as a theme song by numerous politicians during the 2011 Ugandan general election.

As he progressed in the game, Eddy Kenzo formed his record company, Big Talents Entertainment. Kenzo released another popular track, Kamunguluze, in 2014, following which he staged his first solo concert at the Kyadondo Rugby Club.
