                                                        Steve Oduor Dede, popularly knows as Dj Shiti aka Dj Shitiani was born on the 18th of August, in Mumias, Musanda Kenya. He is a Kenyan actor stand-up comedian, musician, and event master of ceremony.
He believes he was born a comedian. Growing up in Nakuru, he started performing plays, set books, and doing stand-up comedies at Nakuru Players theatre, where he started his comedy career and has been on it for over five years.
He was given a platform known as 'Crazy Comedy,' where he showcased his skills, adjusting to the jokes appreciated by Nairobi people, and later attended the 'Churchill Show' auditions, on which he did a tremendous show and made an impact on the audience.
In 2014, he landed a role in a tv show 'The Real House helps of Kawangware,' which captured and moved the audience, and due to that, he got himself a long-term contract for the role, despite the initial agreement to feature in only five episodes. He gets inspiration for his jokes, from real-life experiences about people, who have unmet dreams and he focuses, puts effort into making them more hilarious.
He has a foundation Okoa Mrembo Kwa Streets, dedicated to the people who came to his rescue whom he refers to as his 'sister’ who occasionally gave him money and accommodation when he got stranded with nowhere to sleep during the 'Churchill Show' auditions. The aim of the foundation is, giving back to the sex workers through talks and the provision of food.
Musically, he has been featured by various Kenyan artists like King Kaka, Otile Brown, Timmy T-Dat, Kaligraph Jones among others and looks forward to working with even more artists. He recently started a show known as 'Sinema za Dj Shiti' in collaboration with actor Omosh among others.
