DJ Bluetooth (born Koena Segodi in Ga-Lepadima on March 2, 1989) is a South African record producer, composer, graphic illustrator, and DJ. The self-taught entertainer is from Mabokelele, near Koloti in Limpopo Province. He has released a song through Segodi Pro, his Polokwane-based label.

He has also released music on other labels, including Afro Rebel Music and Vibe Boutique Records in New York. One of his projects exemplifies his one-of-a-kind work in the industry. For six years (2014-2020), Koena's House songs and film scores were featured in Isidingo, a daily drama on SABC 3.

Koena, better known as DJ Bluetooth, was born on March 2, 1989, in Ga-Lepadima, Ga-Matlala, Limpopo. Noko Moses Segodi (father) and Emily Kwena Segodi (mother) are his parents. He is from Mabokelele, near Koloti in Limpopo Province, and has been making good music for almost a decade, having started in 2012.Education. He attended the University of South Africa (UNISA) and graduated with a degree in Safety Management.

Career

Koena began performing music in 2012, and he gradually gained recognition in the competitive entertainment industry. Endemol used his music for commercial background music, as did Pomegranate Media in Isidingo. 

Neill Solomon of Passage One Music introduced DJ Bluetooth in 2014. After two years, Koena launched his label Segodi Pro in 2016. He then began to release music under the label, and radio stations across the country began to play his songs.

His songs have been played on Thobela FM, Energy FM, Bakgat Radio, Whalecoast FM, Inanda FM, and Pulse Radio. His songs have also been played on Eden FM, Clap and Tap Radio, Alex FM, Radio turf, and other stations. He mixes at Energy FM from 2:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays. He frequently mixes on Moletsi FM and Thobela FM.

He is married to Kgabo Johanna Segodi. They are parents to Lesiba Jessica Segodi.
