Previously on the Churchill Show, comedian Peter 'Consumator' Wamwea had gone missing when the live filming of the show was halted due to the Covid-19 outbreak, which disrupted everything.
Consumator was set to make a triumphant return to the spotlight in April, stunning Kenyans when he sought for their assistance. He was bankrupt.
Consumator shocked Kenyans on social media when he confessed he was working as a caretaker and that things were not going well. The comedian revealed that he was struggling not only financially but also with his father's illness.
“Guys I have no qualms about being a caregiver. I do it with joy and a smile. I have no reservations about doing farm labor. Anything that may help me gather funds for my father's illness, I will do with grace and thankfulness." Consumator penned a letter.
The comedian claimed in an interview that his problems began in 2019 when his father was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.
The hilarious man admitted that he had spent all of his savings to care for his elderly father, and that he had been forced to sell everything he owned at some point.
