Cate felt she was ready for mainstream radio after that, so she sent some of her demos to KISS FM, and a few months later, she received the call that changed her life. 

When she first joined KISS FM in 2016, she was given a small segment in which she would read trending news, and she later landed her Mid-Morning segment show.
