How to install Digischool App to Work offline


Digischool is a modern school management system with the following features:

Before installation

Before using the app, you need to register here and then seek for approval from contact page.

Ensure to note down the school number because you're going to need it at every login.

How to install Digischool to work online

There's not much to do after registraton because the system would be ready to use. Download the app using this link and use your school number to login.

How to install Digischool to work offline

Step 1


You need to download xamp, a local server from this local and run it.


Step 2


Double-click the downloaded file to launch the XAMPP installer.

"Setup" window will appear on the screen. Then, click on the "Next" button.

Select the components that you want to install and click on the "Next" button.

By default, all components are selected in your XAMPP installation. 


Step 5


Choose a folder to install the XAMPP and click on the "Next" button.

Step 6


"Ready to Install" window will appear on the screen, then click on the "Next" button.

Click on the "Finish" button.

Step 8


Select a language. (either English or German) and click on the "Save" button.

Configuration Process of XAMPP Server


Step 1


Start the XAMPP control panel through the "Run as administrator" option.


Step 2


"XAMPP Control Panel" will appear on the screen and click on "Start" action to start the "Apache" and "MySQL" modules.






The default XAMPP server settings should work for most users. When you start the related modules (services) then, the color of the related modules (service) becomes change into the green color and the PID(s) and the Port(s) number will also be shown to the user.

You must carry out the method below

Method 1. Change the default port of Apache 


Step 1


Open the XAMPP Control Panel.

Step 2


In Apache Module Service, click on the "Config" button.

Step 3


Click on "Apache (httpd.conf)" option.




Step 4


By pressing the "Ctrl + F" key, find any instance of 80 and change to any 4 digits eg 8080

Step 5


Restart the XAMPP Server.


Step 6


Again, open the "XAMPP Control Panel" and click on the start option under the "Apache" module services.

Again, open the "XAMPP Control Panel" and click on the start option in the "Apache" module services.

Delete everything inside C:\xampp\htdocs

Download this zip  file and unzip all the files in the htdocs above.

Enable the xampp server to start automatically

Before we proceed, make a short for the control panel (xampp-control.exe). 

You'll find this in C:\Xampp\xampp-control.exe

After starting the XAMPP Control Panel, click “Config” in the upper right.

Doing so will open another panel like beow

Then click ‘Save

Now when you start the XAMPP Control Panel, Apache and MySQL will start automatically.

If you want to start the XAMPP Control Panel when Windows starts, you can create a shortcut key at the startup and the follow the below step.

  1. Launch the XAMPP control panel.

  2. Stop all the running XAMPP components by clicking the “Stop” button next to each component.

  3. Click the “Service” button next to each component to install it as a service. Click “Yes” when prompted to confirm. This will install the corresponding service and set it to start automatically on boot.

Now Reboot your system and the selected components should start automatically.

To revert the changes, simply uncheck the selected services in the XAMPP control panel.

Now in the Services panel we can see that Apache and MySQL service type is Automatic
