Justina was born in the Mua Hills area of Machakos. She was raised in a Christian home as a devout AIC member, and she never missed church. Growing up, she was taught to put God at the center of everything, and she attended prayer and Sunday school. She afterwards joined the Redeemed Gospel Church.
